Unfortunately, the lack of snowfall has kept us from grooming prior to this weekend. The trails are generally flat but Very Icy in spots. Riders in Boon reported the trails were flat and mostly very good and were very appreciative of our work. The RailTrail 5 (which is asphalt underneath the groom), has naturally gotten very thin as the sun shines. DNR Regulations do state that the trail is closed with less than 4″ of snow present. We are not able to do our city route either as we can’t groom what we don’t have. This section is quiet thin in spots so we ask that “You The Rider” please respect the local property owners and municipalities as you travel through Cadillac. Stay on Trail !!! We are to receive some snowfall today. Lets all hope we get enough to get these trails up to par by covering up those “snirty” spots.
ALERT ! ! ! There are reports of a very BAD accident involving a Groomer and & multiple Sleds just north of us. No official information has been released at this time. If you come upon a 100% freshly groomed trail be aware that there is a very probable likelihood that the groomer is very near your location. THINK SAFETY !!! Everyone’s Safety is in your right hand while operating a Snowmobile. BEWARE of Turns and Hills!!! “You the Rider”don’t know what’s on the other side!!! SLOW DOWN !!! Stay Right and in SINGLE FILE !!! Ride in a Line not as a pack. OBEY TRAFFIC LAWS as “You the Rider” would on the road as well !!!
Thank “You the Rider”
